How Would You Introduce Jesus?
Reading Sista Laurel's post "The First Fish Fry" made me think of this video. Comedian Steve Harvey, was invited to provide some comic relief a few years ago at MegaFest (A Christian conference.) At the end of his comedy routine he bears his testimony and thanks God and his Savior for all of his success. He says that throughout his career he has been blessed to have had the opportunity to introduce some of the biggest names in show business, and then tells how, if given the chance, he would introduce Jesus.
This has changed the way I look at testimony meeting. What about ya'll Brothas and Sistas? If given the chance to introduce Jesus, how would you introduce him? Fast and Testimony meeting is fast approaching will you be introducing him this month or next?

Love Steve Harvey, and this was amazing, had never seen it before.
If I were introducing the Savior, I would probably do it big like Steve. But the Savior will probably need no introduction when he comes again and will probably re-enter just as quietly, meekly and humbly as he did when he was born in a manger. Thanks for the video!
This video demonstrates worship and praise and hallelujahs, common in the Bible, common in the Book of Mormon, yet not so much a part of our public LDS culture today. I believe we'll relearn the joy of it at some point.
Not my usual idea of reverence, but I must admit that I liked it.

Wow. Just wow. But I like it! We need more enthusiasm like this in our church.
For some reason I couldn't get the video to work. However, I felt it was a wonderful thought about how you would introduce Jesus. Love your blog and you always bring a smile to my face.

Hopefully each of us through the way we live can be an introduction to Christ for those in our lives. Easier said than done right?
